Replacement Parts
Predator elements have been used to enhance or replace existing treatment equipment. The high purity copper-zinc alloy has been found to remove or reduce bacteria, other microorganisms, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, iron, and heavy metals. The Predator elements are environmentally friendly and can be recycled.
Predator Bio Filter Housing
Model # PBH-420-1.5
Made of highly durable polypropylene, incases the element and the pre-filter bag.
Applicable filter elements: PL-20-II & 1 Pre filter bag (25, 50, 100 microns)
Predator Bio Filter Element
Model # PL-20-II
Description: Consists of high-purity copper-zinc fibers tightly wound. In an electrolytic solution (water), the dissimilar metals of the copper-zinc alloy procedure an electrochemical reaction. This oxidation-reduction process causes electrons to transfer from one molecule to another. In the case of Predator, hydrogen sulfide is reduced to cupric sulfide. This insoluble molecule attaches to the strands of the filter element and is easily removed with a clean water rinse.
Predator Replacement Filter Bag
Model # PB-25, PB-50, PB-100
Made of Polypropylene felt the pre filter bag captures solids and protects the high-purity copper element. The pre filter bag ranges in pore sizes from 5-100 microns.
Predator Replacement Polishing Filter
Model # PF-20-5, 15, 25
Radial flow depth type filter cartridges have a typical density gradient. The shape of the filter is maintained by inter-wining the filter media. Adhesives are not used. Polypropylene filter media is wound in layers, from the thinnest media layer to the thicker media layer outside.
